Iowa basketball

Another year of Hawkeye basketball came to an end a few minutes ago, when Iowa lost to some school in Louisiana I've never heard of before. I don't really follow basketball anymore, but I know this feeling of vicarious loss well. Back when I was a rabid Hawk fan, this usually came because of Duke or UNLV or another school that was actually known and very good.

On the plus side, now Steve Alford has some time free. Hopefully he'll use it to look at other schools with open coaching jobs, places where people (e.g. me) don't want to spit on him when he's seen in public.
